The future of competitive eating « Result #4 on Dec 19, 2003, 3:07pm »
I saw the most amazing thing at our holiday luncheon at work today. There was a one man eating machine, his name Yuki. Everytime i walked into dining area Yuki had a different plate of food in front of him. This went on for 2 hours. Luckily they took the food away, so he had to stop. After seeing that display I have come to a conclusion. Either he hasn't eaten in a few days, or he is getting ready to enter a competitive eating contest. If it's the eating contest, he must be training to challenge Joe. He's gonna call him out, I can feel it.

Time for a Joe-movie experience moment.... i know this following statement is just another thing yuki can put in his "joe is sad" portfolio, but i'll say it anyway, .. i love to goto the movies alone, especially when i KNOW im gonna be moved or be better for the experience... after i got myself to fully sit through FOTR, i found out i enjoyed it, even if the book is unbearable to me... so i was lookin foward to the TT, and i went right after work when it came out... i was BLOWN AWAY.. totally, and now i realize the reason things were lackin for me in FOTR is because the LOTR is really 1 movie, and i didnt care about the story until it started to unfold more.. and thats why pete jackson is a genius for filmin it all at once,... it completely feels like all 3 movies fully need each other, yet can still stand alone as just chapters... i agree with yuki, the feelin before helms deep battle, unreal!.. just the way PJ visualize what tolkien written, and the extent of the visual orgasm which is the LOTR, and never cheesing out or goin to the usual bag of tricks to force an emotional response, amazing... and we cant forget tolkiens imagination in all this, which i think PJ took to levels even tolkien couldnt imagine... when i was watchin this movie, i knew i was watching some special, aweosme feeling... and ill say this, how long was that movie?.. i had to take a wicked piss the entire time, yet i never moved an inch.... i was totally ready to piss my pants if i had to, so i didnt miss a thing... how rare is it that from movies these days?... LOTR:, totally "piss your pants" worthy. .. im ready to goto new zealand.

Major message Board Announcment « Result #9 on Dec 19, 2003, 10:37am »
Due to the instability and access log on problems of this free board I will be moving it to a more reliable board that is based on my Ninja Spirit server. There will be a fair amount of changes, but I feel that the pros will outweigh the cons. I am currently in thr slowly agonizing process of moving every post from this board over to the new one. Once that is done then the board link on the main page will switch over.
All current board members should have already recieved an email containing their log on and password for the new board. If you need this information again please email me. Most of you know my direct email, but for those that are behind on the times you can just send it to River@ninja-spirit.com
Oh and before I forget the switch will occur soimetime this weekend. Have agreat one!!

My non spoiler thoughts on the movie were posted yesterday on the main Ninja Spirit page as a second News Post. I think I did a pretty decent job conveying my feelings on the movie.
